My festive table is laden!
Have I thought because of giving myself a daft deadline I have produced a card which given a bit more time I would be happier with?
Have I had the usual moments of thinking I really should start doing the Christmas card design in November?
Yes.
Have I thought because of giving myself a daft deadline I have produced a card which given a bit more time I would be happier with?
You bet.
But hey it is the 14th December.
On the positive sides I do have an image that features gold paint, intense bluey-black ink and some gorgeously fine iridescent black and dark green glitter dust that has now migrated everywhere.
Plus I have a table full of cards which are, at this moment drying and being flattened. Think that is the real reason they call it ‘relief printing’. Nothing like printing your own Christmas cards to give you welcome relief from all the rest of the mayhem at this time of year.
Oh, and if one of these lands on your doorstep, remember – they were produced in a bit of a hurry this year! Note to self, start earlier next year.
Merry Christmas!
